Welcome to Plymouth, Minnesota!

Hello to one and all,
What follows on this blog is a guide to some really great stuff you can do in Plymouth, MN. Plymouth is one of the greatest cities to live in according to Money Magazine. I'm pretty sure they made that ranking based on quality of schools, home values and stuff like that. Well, my ranking is based on good times and whether they roll or not. I'll let you be the judge and I'll unfold some truely classic P-Town activities. Hopefully when you're looking for things to do in Plymouth, this site will get you headed in the right direction.

  1. My family will be moving to the Minneapolis area next summer. We've driven through Plymouth twice & still keep saying "where is everything?" All we've seen are lots of houses & the high school. We have read so many different sources that rate the area so highly...please tell me what we're missing? Where do you do your grocery shopping, see doctors, etc? Is there a "downtown" area? What's the "lay out"? The commute would be ideal for my husband as he'll be near the Metrodome, so we keep hoping we'll find what makes the place so awesome:) Any help would be greatly appreciated:) Thank you:)

    1. plymouth is a cool place but definately a little spread out. You could say our downtown is over by the city center and lifetime fitness (3600 Plymouth Blvd Plymouth, MN 55446). but its definately not much of a downtown. Grocery options are plenty, Cub foods is my preferrence (4445 Nathan Ln N). Plenty of doctors nearby (Park Nicollet 3007 Harbor Ln N Plymouth, MN 55447). The west half goes to Wayzata Schools and the east half goes to Robbinsdale school district (Armstrong High which is in Plymouth). As you already pointed out the commute is easy. Plymouth is a great place, its quiet though.
